2019 – Research collaboration initiated between the Grup de Química Farmacèutica (GQF) of IQS School of Engineering and XENOPAT
2020–2025 – Public funding secured in two projects financed by the Spanish government: PANCTKI (RTI2018-096455-B-I00), PreClinIQS080 (PDC2022-133188-I00)
2022–2025 – Discovery and optimization of OPC080
2025 – Demonstration of efficacy in multiple PDAC models
2026 – Incorporation of OncoPanCure Therapeutics
2026–2027 – IND-enabling studies

The development of OPC080 has been supported through competitive national and European funding programs focused on translational cancer research and therapeutic innovation.
To date, more than €300,000 in non-dilutive funding has been secured, enabling the advancement of OPC080 from discovery through preclinical proof-of-concept.
